Big Character

began in Worcester Massachusetts way back in the 90s.

Co-founded by Brian Chu and Noel Christopher, the band started with Rich Burke on drums, Dan Goodwin on guitar, and David Soble on bass.    Brian played keys, Noel guitar, and both were the lead singers.

Miles Cook added guitar solos to many of the songs.

Alex Miranda became THE drummer for the Big Character and John Amaral because THE bassist for the band to get the groove right.

They were managed by Snarling Frog Entertainment -- Eddie Minasian, George Kalavantis, Mike Cronin and Steve SAC Coscarella.

The band played many Boston live music clubs -- some still standing (The Middle East) and most who live in memory (THE Irish Embassy, The Rat, TT The Bears,  The Kendall Cafe, Mama Kin Music Hall, The Hard Rock Cafe, to name a few)

While the members have gone on to the band Joy Popper, solo acts, pizzerias and other projects, we are remastering and re-releasing the Big Character catalog.
